- The first thing you need to know about Viridescent is that she absolutely hates being called Viridescent. She introduces herself as her real name, but always adds, "everyone calls me Viri, though." This girl is the life and soul of a party, a bit of a wild kid. You almost can't help liking her, although she looks down on others (well, boys) with contempt. She has an excellent nose for gossip, and if the perfect person to wheedle secrets out of well- anybody. She loves to hear about relationships, and often plays matchmaker while in a group. Though she's usually optimistic and sweet, she often feels as if her own love life is going nowhere. This is pretty much the only reason you'll ever see Viri sad. Though she lacks in intelligence, Viri has an excellent sense of empathy and is a wonderful, loyal friend. She lacks in creativity and artistic talent, however. In fact, she really doesn't stand out in any particular way... except weaving. Viridescent is a wonderful weaver, with anything from crochet to fish-catching nets to daisy chains. This is the only thing requiring concentration that she's even moderately good at- otherwise, she's always a bit hyperactive; ADHD to the core.

- why the name 'viridescent?'
'Viridescent' means 'green,' and since that's obviously what Viri is, I decided to use it. I think it fits her; it works well as a name.

- Eva is the drama queen, and she has to always prove herself worthy of attention. Though not vain in the slightest- she is actually very insecure with herself- Eva constantly puts others down, calling them "idiots." Most commonly she insults other kiamaras' intelligence. Eva herself is a challenge to get to know, as she hates socialization outside of open hostility. It's often hard for her to balance the two parts of her identity- her angry, bullying aspect and the far more sensitive and unhappy version that lies not far beneath. She can be outright violent- often making threats and looking for fights purely for the sake of not being bored.
Eva as a friend is even stranger than Eva as an enemy. Although bullying and moreover unkind, Eva has a sort of patronizing, taunting way about her that is more of a friendly teasing than a hostile one. She can be a good friend to have on your side, despite the strange consequences of knowing her well. She can be rude on the outside, but is much kinder and more vulnerable deep inside than you'd imagine.
And Eva as a lover... goodness. Eva can become fiercely protective of someone she cares about, and positively clingy. She does not take rejection well, and, although she becomes less hostile when she truly feels close to someone, she also gets awkward and unhappy.

I love the name Katrina. My second choice was Emerilla, but I and several others finally settled on Katrina. Laya calls Katrina Trina or Kitty, but nobody else is allowed to call her anything but her proper name.
